John has over 25 years experience as a financial advisor helping his clients grow and protect their wealth. He specializes in matters such as asset allocation and portfolio management as well as real estate investing and property management.

He attended the University of Pittsburgh where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the university’s Honors College. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.

John lives in Sewickley and enjoys spending time with his family when away from the office.

Scott has over 20 years experience as a financial advisor working with clients on issues such as wealth management, insurance planning, asset allocation estate planning and tax planning. Scott enjoys helping his clients achieve their long-term financial goals. Scott is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.

He majored in Finance at Penn State University where he graduated from the Smeal College of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. While at Penn State, he served for two years as an officer of the school's Financial Planning Association.

Scott lives in Mars, Pennsylvania with his wife, Jen, and two sons. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and playing tennis.

Melissa is graduate of the University of Oklahoma where she majored in Natural Sciences / Meteorology. As Chief Compliance Officer, Melissa is responsible for developing, maintaining and revising JMS' policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC.)  She has worked with Pittsburgh financial service firms since 1997, and has a broad depth of knowledge in back office operations and administration, regulatory compliance and customer support. Melissa has been with JMS since 2010, maintains her PA Life, Accident, Health & Annuities license and is a member of the JMS Investment Policy Committee.

Melissa, with her husband and son, reside in Bradfordwoods in the North Allegheny School District.  Outside of work and playing the French horn, she enjoys spending time with family, reading and travelling.

While relatively new to the retail financial services industry, Eric previously worked as a research assistant at Harvard Business School, MIT's Sloan School, and the MIT Economics department, including an assignment with the recent Chief Economist of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Olivier Blanchard. He also taught economics at MIT and as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Dartmouth College.

He graduated Phi Beta Kappa and cum laude from Princeton with a major in the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. He has a Masters in Economics from MIT, with majors in Public Finance and Labor Economics, and minors in Industrial Organization and Econometrics.

Eric now lives in Monroeville, Pennsylvania with his wife, Jackie, and their son. Outside of work, Eric enjoys spending time with his family and supporting his son in his various endeavors.
